    - EVA Stuctures: These films have remarkable versality due to their high flextbility and adaptation to extreme climates (high tempature differentials, high winds, ...) as well as combinations with special features such as anti-dust, anti-drip and virus properties.

Their outstanding thermic features permit to achive good growth rates, maintain higher foilage tempatures, prevent the risk of scorhing and frost damage as well as to reduce costs on overnight heating

  • Speciality Films

  • - Anti-Thermic Films: The multilayer stucture is specially coextruded to create an air/bubble chamber in the middle layer of the film.

This permits to better control day-night tempatures and achive optimum insulation of the greenhouse.

    - Enhanced Light Diffusion Option: For shading purposes (nurseries, ferns, conifers) or total blackout in case of special srops (mushrooms)
    - Enhances Light Transmission Option: Highher light transmission (92-93%) that guarantees plant growth is not distored during winter and crop precoity is obtained.
    - Anti Drip Option: Prevents dripping on plants thus reducing the incidence of diseases
    - Anti Virus Option: Permits to achive to control of certain diseases by reducing the sporulation of most relevant pathogenic fungi (for example botrytis and mildew) as well as the reduction of certain vectors to those diseases (for example thryps, white fly)
    - Anti Blackening Option: Specially film designed for red rose growers to achieve the control of blackening of the petals.
    - Anti Dust Option: Permits to reduce the fixation of dust on the films and maintain high levels of light transmission.

All mulch and microtunnel films are available with micro perforations and macro perforations (see product presentation) to enable insect pollination, easy planting and excellent air ventillation troughout the microtunnel, or greenhouse if used as double chambers.

  • Standard Films

  • - Transparent Films: For use as mulch, these films are manufactured from LDPE, LLDPE or a mixture of both. Thickness range from 13,75 µ (55 gauge) to 50 µ (200 guage) depending on the intnded application.

These films increase soil temperature during the day favouring root development and protecting the crop at night allowing calorific radiation to pass from the soil to the atmosphere thus reducing the cooling of the aerial part of the plant This combination of factors allows constant growth and crop earliness.

For use on microtunnels these films are available in thickness ranging from 50 µ (200 guage) to 125 µ (500 guage) depending on their intended application.
    - Black Opaque Film: Mulch films are manufactured from LDPE, LLDPE or mixtures of both, to which black colouring based on "smoke black" is added, in thickness from 15 µ (60 gauge) to 50 µ (200 gauge) A 0% light transmission is guaranteed.
    - Anti Drip Transparent Film: If used as a mulch film, is anto-fog additives package provides it with very spacial features for delicate crops such as asparagus cultivation.

In case of microtunnels this film is available in thickness raging from 50 µ (200 gauge) to 125 µ (500 gauge) depending on its intended application

Its EVA based and anti-drip additives noticevably improve the passage of light through the film, especiallly in the first hours of daylight thus considerably increasing soil temperature as well as preventing heat loss during the night.

  • Special Films
  • A variety of mono and bicolored mulch films is available upon demand. Depending on types of crops and growth environment, different types of films can be used to achive insect and disease control (thryps, white fly, botrytis, ...) improve photosynthesis, obtain optimal root temperature and weed control, etc.

Mono color combinations include opaque white, silver, photoselective green, photoselective brown, etc. Bicolor combinations include white/black, silver/black, yellow/black, photoselective orange/brown, etc.
